Our modular building factory is seeking a skilled and reliable roofer to join our team. As a Modular Building Roofer, you will have the opportunity to work in a factory environment, installing brand new roofs on our modular buildings. This means you get to work out of the elements while still enjoying the satisfaction of a job well done.
Responsibilities:
- Install roofs on brand new modular buildings
- Install fascia & gutters and prepare downpipes for onsite installation
- Ensure all work is completed with precision and safety in mind, following safety protocols and ensure compliance with building codes and regulations
- Work collaboratively with our skilled team of professionals to complete projects on time and within budget
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in roofing installation
- Proficiency in metal roofing systems
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and troubleshoot roofing issues
- Ability to read and interpret plans
- Working knowledge of roofing materials and equipment
- Physical ability to perform roofing work, including climbing ladders and operating EWP's and wear safety harness systems
- Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to roofing installation
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team
- Attention to detail and safety
